The Wit and Wisdom of Marriage

Emil Krotky said "A good marriage is the peaceful coexistence of two nervous systmes."

 

 

Amos 3:3

 

"Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"

 

One of the greatest aspects of preserving and maintaining a peacefule coexistence in marriage is understanding that both people are individuals created by God.  A great marriage is one that combines two individuals and makes them into one.

 

The purpose of marriage is to become so intertwined that the two people become one entity before God and man.

 

If we have a desire for a strong marital coexistence we must pray for the same type of unity that Paul admonished the church of Corinth to have.  1st Corinthians 1:10 says "Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

 

There is indeed strength in unity!
