The Roseville Independent Chapel is a
rural, evangelical, bible believing, gospel preaching church located 2
1/2 mile west of Brookville, Pa. on Route 322 west. Our purpose
and being is to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help lost
souls seek Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and find eternal life
with him.
We have an excellent congregational
mix from out tots to our elderly. We are a very friendly congregation
where you will be greeted with a warm smile and handshake, but we also
are sensitive to our visitors in the fact that we do not publicly
recognize them, because we know that not everyone is comfortable with
that format.
Our worship services are
traditional services, however we do begin our service with several
contemporary worship songs. Our regular hymns are traditional.
We have an average attendance of
approximately 145 with a total church affiliation of approximately
230.
You will find a very laid back
atmosphere here at RIC. You will find that our services ring
out with laughter, praise and yes, sometimes tears. We believe that
all are good for one's soul.
You may attend here and wear blue
jeans and t-shirts or a suit and tie and dress slacks if you like, we
are just happy that you are in the house of the Lord.
Pastor Jim's messages are
evangelical, bible based, gospel preaching messages that are down to
earth where everyone from all walks of life can and do appreciate and
enjoy.
Every worship service ends with an
altar call. We believe that church should be a place where a
sinner can find salvation and where a saint can bring their burdens to
the Lord and leave them there.
We are handicap accessible to our
sanctuary and we also provide nursery service during our worship
hours.
